Elder Oaks said in his talk titled, The Challenge to Become, "We must not stop striving!" How do we measure that progress? The change in our hearts and have the Spirit with us to have the mind of Christ. How can I apply that to my life? Don't give up! Keep learning!
In the Heart of an Entrepreneur article it says, "A true entrepreneur seeks growth or change and believes they have the ability to realize goals." Change and believe! This is the secret sauce to success.
I need to think BIG! Anything is possible! I need to make sure that I allow part of my day to creative work and accomplishing my dreams. My goal is to allow at least an hour of creating or reading to become inspired toward reaching my goals.
Kathy Huber created hardware infrastructure of the early internet. She mentored those who were curious about her path to success. If someone told her no, she went after her goals anyway. In her entrepreneurial class companies would give students problems they couldn't solve. She learned to solve problems outside of the box.
Make new friends and find new mentors. Always ask questions.
What is the key driving force in my life? Parable from wise Cherokee about the battle between two wolves. First wolf represented all the ego, pride, Second wolf, represented joy, faith, love, etc. Which wolf wins? The one you feed. What you starve dies. Good vs. Evil.

Center is where influence originates.
A temple of learning is higher education affiliated with the Church.

#1 The faith of a true disciple is rooted in Jesus Christ.
#2 Faith in Jesus Christ is a spiritual gift. This gift gives us trust and confidence in Christ.
#3 Faith in the Savior and spiritual preparation will dispel fear.

The value of leadership: a person who takes others to higher ground. Our responsibility is to change the course of history. We can do great things in our own lives and the lives of those we lead. Captain Moroni felt responsible to protect his people. He organized and prepared them. Take a stand for truth and righteousness. I am a leader. I can motivate others without reward like Moroni.
Most good things come from the past. Discovering wisdom can help us solve the problems we now face. Good is the enemy of great. Comfort zone is in the good. Level 5 leaders are humble and passionate.
Three elements of greatness:
1. There needs to be a great product.
2. Believe you can become the best.
